Advocates for The DREAM Act

Advocates for The DREAM Act

Thousands are calling on Congress to enact the DREAM Act.  Will you join us?

While Congress has failed to enact comprehensive immigration reform this year, it’s not too late for them to provide relief to young people who are undocumented through no fault of their own.  Join thousands of others from across the country in urging Congress to enact The DREAM Act.

What we need now is to make sure all members of the House and Senate know that their constituents care about DREAM students and want to see The DREAM Act enacted by year’s end!  It is time we secure the future of immigrant young people – it is time to pass The DREAM Act.

TAKE ACTION:  Call 866-945-0566 on November 29, 2010.  You will hear a brief message, then will be connected to the Capitol switchboard operator.  Ask to be transferred to your Senators and Representative.  You will be transferred to the receptionist for each office.  Tell your Senators and Representative that, as their constituent, you urge them to cosponsor and help enact the DREAM Act so that undocumented high school graduates brought to the United States as children can realize their potential through higher education and service to the United States, thus benefiting all Americans.

One Response to “Ask Congress to support The DREAM Act!”

  1. Teffy Gonzalez says:

I love the poeple trying to help out the students with this dream. Everyone deserves a chance to education. To be honest the poeple againts this Act who call it a “Nightmare Act” obviously have no sense of what they are talking about. When did the Native Americans ever seal their borders when the white english man came to settle James Town. Also they obviously have to knowledge of what they are saying. Nobody is trying to take away anything from anyone. What the millions of students are trying to do is better themselves infavor of this country. To help out in the improvement of our economy as they become Doctors, Lawyers, Nurses, Engineers, ect. I hope that someday some of these people can open their eyes and realize what they have.
