We are a community Service (non-profit) Organization; we had been helping Immigrants with their problems for the past 60 some years; we help them to assimilate into their new environment ; help them with their needs and assist them with their problems. We educate them and encourage them to be outstanding citizens and to give back to their community and help others. We need funds for our work because we are all volunteers. (nobody gets paid a penny ). We strongly believe in our system to provide immigration reforms. Thanks .

My group & I would like more details on how to apply for this grant. We would also like to know the deadline. Please email me back as soon as possible. Thank you! Take care.
We have an emergency group of pastors organized in Rhode Island where a move is being made toward an Arizona ‘look alike’ law including e-verify and the rest.
The United Methodist, Lutheran, and Presbyterian pastors took a trip to the border of AZ two weeks ago, have a web site up and running, and are preparing teams of laity to go to Humane Borders, No More Deaths, Border Links and others for training in the desert. They are also preparing speaking engagements in RI. But all of this has been quick and on faith. See: http://www.partnersinwitness.org/home for a report and progress. We are really needing initial start up support until we can get local fundraising in gear and have done everything so far out of our own pockets and limited church dollars. Your help will be seed for us in an important, growing connection between the East Coast immigration fight and AZ. Our churches are multi-racial, multi-cultural and include many immigrants from Asia, Africa, and Latin America worshiping with North Americans in urban Rhode Island.
I live in a small city in Alabama where the main issue is immigration. The city is divide in between Hispanics and whites and the struggles come daily. I would very much like to share my story as an advocate and as a wife of an immigrant who knows first hand the fears that come with living in the shadows. We need immigration reform and that is what I am fighting for. I would love to apply for these Grants and be able to continue my work as an advocate for immigration reform. Thank You
I am interested in more information about the Local Action Grant. We (I and another pastor and a social worker) live and work in a community with a large percentage of folk for whom immigration reform is critical.

Dear Hillary, Thanks for your email. Our local action grants are only for U.S. work for comprehensive immigration reform in the U.S. Sorry!
